DESCRIPTION

This candle kit is such a fun project for young children. Sweet-smelling all-natural beeswax candles are easy to make and require no melting or special molds, keeping it safe for your preschoolers.

This candle kit contains everything you need to make seven 4" candles.  You'll love their bright, steady flame, especially when gracing the top of a special birthday cake or as spiral walk or lantern walk or other special candle occasions! Burn time is approximately 1.5 hours per candle.

There is a helpful eco-kids demonstration video for turning these honeycomb sheets into candles on YouTube here. The video is by a production company called Leedia Studios in Vancouver, B.C.

**eco-kids has created new packaging; same honeycomb sheets and wicks —they sent a few of both but whichever you receive, they are the same product

Always keep a burning candle within sight and keep out of reach of children and pets and away from curtains and other flammable items. Adults should supervise at all times when candle has been lit.

HINT: Hold the wax sheets between your two palms to warm them. This makes them more pliable, easy to roll and makes quite nice candles. A hairdryer on low heat will do the same. The pleasant smell of natural beeswax will increase as they warm up too.

We don’t recommend trying to roll the candles if the sheets are not warmed slightly as they will be stiff and may crack. If they do crack, just warm them with a hairdryer on low and then smooth them back out. Easy peasy!
