Stacking Toys & Blocks

Stacking toys are a developmental milestone for babies and toddlers and helps develop other skills like reaching, grasping and eye-hand coordination. Encourage the development of this skill by providing plenty of block or other stacking toy opportunities from regular sized blocks for babies up to giant nesting blocks. 

Continue with your growing toddler and preschooler by adding stacking toys that can create imaginary cities, homes, barns and so on. This is important to the critical skill of imagination, which develops between the ages of three to five. Imagination leads to creativity and problem-solving skills later in life.
