DESCRIPTION
A Child's Seasonal Treasury was conceived as a resource book for parents and teachers of young children. Throughout the seasons, songs, verses, poems, riddles, fingerplays, games, creative drama and movement, watercolor painting, handcrafts, healthy recipes and gratitude for life that rekindles a sense of wonder are keynotes of this Smithsonian Notable Children's Book (Nov. 1997, Vol 28, Number 8).
This newly published edition has been up-dated by the author and includes a conversion chart for the recipes to "translate" world-wide and more illustrations and explanations of activities. Whether at home or at school, this book will bring joy into the process of learning, both for children and for the adults who are involved with them on a daily basis.
NOTE: The Premium Edition has traditionally been printed on the highest quality paper with library-type binding and was noted by many as being unaffordable. Because this is such an exceptional book for homeschool parents and educators of young children, the publishers and author knew they needed to make it more accessible. This Education Edition is printed as a regular softcover book to make it more affordable but is otherwise identical to the Premium Edition.
