ABCs, 123s, Colors, Shapes

Known as concept books, these books are often written for very young children, toddlers and infants to introduce them to basic concepts, such as colors, shapes, numbers, and the alphabet. Additional concept books may include such topics as opposites, size and distance or even concepts for older children such as days of the week, months of the year or comparing very large numbers or distances.
