In the spring, two robins sing to find each other. Together, they build a nest with twigs and grass. The mother Robin lays beautiful blue eggs and keeps them warm until they hatch. Then the father Robin helps protect and feed the babies until they can fly on their own. The family encounter many perils throughout the changing seasons but the nest is always their safe space.

Henry Cole has recreated the life story of the Robin with simple text and stunning artwork. Nesting is the perfect primer for young bird watchers and nature lovers.
