Choroi 12-String Childrens Lyre, Maple, Tunes to Pentatonic or Diatonic

DESCRIPTION 

This Choroi childrens lyre is made of one piece of maple wood and has an open soundbox. It forms the transition to the larger chromatic lyres in sound, range.

The 12 steel strings can be tuned diatonically or pentatonically (tuning key included). This lyre can be used in the lower grades tuned as a Pentatonic Lyre and then retuned as a Diatonic Lyre if your child Carrie’s this instrument forward into the upper grades.

It is also possible to play all types of scales, minor as well as major. This means most folk songs and other simple melodies can be played on it.
