DESCRIPTION
Brighter is a beautiful postcard of an alert goose out swimming in the world. She is drawn in pastels by Loes Botman and is reminiscent of a goose you may find on a farm.
DID YOU KNOW?
Did you know a goose is a female and a gander is a male and the plural of goose is geese. A baby is a called a gosling and a group of geese is a gaggle.
Geese may try to chase and snap at strangers who get too close, but they can be very loyal to to the people who raise them from babies and are excellent at alerting their humans of trouble or trespassers. Geese are also quite loyal to each other. If a goose is hurt during migration, other geese will stay with it and take care of it until it can rejoin the flock or until it dies. Their kindness is a great model to us all.
