This is the smaller version of the traditional kettle basket handwoven from Veta Vera grass.
These small kettle baskets with swing handles are the perfect size for children to use as a gathering basket for gardening-foraging-wildflowers, an Easter basket, storage for smaller toys, storage for art supplies, a travel lunch or snack basket, a travel toy basket, a personal picnic lunch or just for fun. In fact, though the children in our family love these baskets, the adults love them as well during berry picking season as it makes for an un-awkward size when managing all those brambles and is perfect for small berries.
This basket also makes a very pretty vase with a mason jar of water nestled inside for your flowers.
