Nonfiction

Nonfiction books are based on real events, people or facts. These might include biographies, historical happenings, nature or natural events and can also include how to books and guides. Children's nonfiction includes engaging illustrations or graphics to break up the text for younger readers and help guide the eye. They may support a biographical account or explain text visually but also pull the reader in as much as or sometimes more than the written part of the story.
