At Alder and Alouette, we believe in childhood and fostering imagination. Children between the ages of 3  to around 6 or 7 love to pretend play, but they can’t yet hold imaginary pictures in their mind. They need “props” like costumes to help pretend play and imagination happen. So we purchase high-quality dress up items made of quality materials that are durable and very well made and can be used for play all year.
