DESCRIPTION

Developed for students in the early Waldorf or Homeschool grades (1st grade and early part of 2nd grade), these Early Literacy Main Lesson Books alternate between blank drawing pages and soft blue  1-inch ruled pages.

This is the book used in 1st grade and could also be used at the beginning of the 2nd grade year. Class time is not spent creating lines or using guides under their paper. Based on indications for what helps students when learning to read and write from Roadmap to Literacy by Janet Langley and Jennifer Militzer-Kopperl, these books are an innovative aid for students and teachers alike.

Every page is made from quality 120 g paper for beautiful artwork and writing. These books are a large portrait size (11x14 inches) and are available in all 6 popular cover colors.

They are spiral bound with 32 pages starting with a blank cover page. The lined pages have room for a title and has a margin for a decorative border.

The lined pages are 1-inch ruled with a dotted midline, so that each sections above and below the dotted line are ½ inch. The skip space is also ½ inch.

NOTE: This is not a handwriting practice book. We have those in staples and spiral versions. The spiral versions are lined page, blank page alternating. The Stapled versions are all lined pages:
