DESCRIPTION 

Lyra Color Giants (unlacquered) 18-count, assorted colors are highly-pigmented colored pencils with an extra thick, break resistant lead to give the colors gigantic intensity. The pigments in these colored pencils lay down like butter and are just gorgeous! Definitely an art-worthy colored pencil. In fact, if you are taking any homeschool courses through online, Lyra Color Giants is a preferred color pencil for some of their courses: Geometry Gr5-Gr8.

The pencils are long-lasting, and durable, and deliver color that is smudge-proof and waterproof. These pencils have a rounded, hexagonal-shaped barrel so they can’t roll off the table, and the shape makes them more comfortable to hold.

STORAGE

A brilliant feature is the included wooden storage box. No more ripped and tattered cardboard boxes that won’t stay shut. The tin storage box has a hinged lid. All 18 pencils fit snugly inside.

These color pencils are an investment, but wow are they worth it! They have outlasted my old regular color pencils for sure thanks to the thickness and once they finally began to get short from sharpening, I just popped on a color pencil extender (lengthener), and I was good to go.
