Delicate and beloved. Plant in an edible flower garden, a snacking garden or a fairy garden full of tiny flowers like these Johnny jump ups and alpine strawberries.

BELOVED MEMORIES

Do you remember the first seed you ever planted? Our earliest memories of plants- whether from childhood or later in life- can become the roots of life-long relationships with plants.

Johnny Jump-Ups were the first flower seeds I planted at my grandmother’s. My memories of helping her pick out the seeds, examining how tiny they were at her kitchen table and then planting them under her peach tree remain vivid because these Wild Pansies came back every year - keeping that memory alive. As an adult, I’ve always made sure to plant these charming little flowers wherever I’ve lived.

Make new ever-lasting memories with your plant kin by sowing these hearty, edible, wild pansies, lovingly know as Johnny Jump-Ups.

GROWING INSTRUCTIONS

Easy to grow early-season blooms can be directly sowed by scattering seeds in a cultivated patch, either in late fall or early spring. Johnny Jump Ups will grow in a variety of conditions--from partial sun to full sun, and even in dry conditions. Plant under trees or in any bare area of the garden. Does well in low maintenance container gardens as well. Self-sows and comes back year after year early spring.
