DESCRIPTION
If you're new to needle felting and looking for a fun project to try, we think you'll enjoy making these evergreen trees. They make a great decoration whether used in a scene or on their own and are great in pretend play with older children who take care of their toys.
Felting time: about 3 hours per tree depending on individual felting speed.
YOU WILL ALSO NEED A mat to use as a work surface and glue to attach the trunks. Mats that work for this project include foam, burlap, or wool. Once you have a mat, it can be used for many projects. Note that foam is the most economical but wears out the fastest. At Alder and Alouette, we sell foam mats, wool mats and burlap mats separately.
