Clover Natural Fit Leather Thimble

DESCRIPTION 

Protect your fingers while sewing using Clover Natural Fit Leather Thimble. This pack contains one leather, finger-shaped thimble to give you a good fit. The unique shape creates a smooth curve from the edge of the fingertip to the middle of the finger for a cozy natural fit. No seams or stitches where the needle hits the thimble allowing the needle to be pushed from the most convenient spot and two layers of leather for better protection.

A small is the smallest we have for children. It fits a finger with diameter (distance across; not distance around) of about 14-15 mm (9/16”) just above the first finger joint. The medium fits a finger with diameter 16mm (5/8”).

Thimbles are game changers for embroidery, cross stitch, doll making, darning and any other type of hand sewing.

We also like to use this leather thimble with needle felting. It covers less of the finger than a typical felting needle finger cover, but it gives us more finger movement-control and is thicker.  It’s really personal preference. If you’d like more finger coverage (but it will be thinner and constrict finger movement at the joint more) choose felting fingers longer covers. If you mostly hit the tips of your fingers and prefer a thicker cover and more finger movement (more finger will be exposed) try this one.
